City Lights

Welcome

Welcome to Your Home Away From Home in Atlanta!

Hi there and welcome! We’re so happy you’re here, and not just in a general “glad you booked our place” kind of way. We genuinely believe every guest is part of something special here, and we’re honored to have you stay.

We’re your hosts, a husband-and-wife duo with a big love for meaningful hospitality and an even bigger love for this city. We first opened our home because we believe travel should feel more personal than check-in codes and keypads (though yes, you’ll find those too!). Hospitality runs in our family; one of us comes from a long line of Southern cooks, and the other was raised by a writer & a researcher who taught the art of curiosity, storytelling, and making everyone feel at home. We like to think this house is a bit of both: part warm welcome, part guided experience, and all heart.

We designed every corner of this space with care, from the arcade games and cozy reading nooks to the plush bedding and well-loved sitting area in the den. We imagine your stories unfolding here: late-night laughter over board games, quiet morning coffee on the patio, stories swapped under soft fireplace light in the living room. Whether you’re visiting for work, family, celebration, rest, or a little bit of everything, we’re rooting for this trip to be one you’ll always remember.

Here’s what we believe:

People need rest, and homes should offer it.

Travel connects us, and comfort sustains us.

Guests aren’t just passing through; they’re part of the story.

So thank you for choosing us, for trusting us, and for being the kind of traveler who appreciates thoughtful details. Your stay helps us continue doing something we love: building beautiful spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, their loved ones, and new cities. When you support a host like us, you support families, future plans, and dreams quietly being built in the background (sometimes while folding sheets or labeling pantry shelves!).

Take a moment to settle in. Breathe deep. Open the guestbook; it’s filled with helpful tips, local favorites, hidden gems, and everything you need to navigate both the house and the city with ease.

Need anything? We’re just a message away.

Want to leave a little something behind? We'd love to see a note in the digital guestbook, or even just a kind review in the app...

Want to return? We'd be honored.

From our home to your heart....

....Welcome to Atlanta. Welcome to your stay. You matter here.

About Atlanta

Atlanta isn’t just a place, it’s a vibe. It’s the kind of city where the future is built on top of deep roots, where street art tells stories, and where the music playing from a passing car says more about the culture than a guidebook ever could.

🎤 Hip-Hop Capital of the South

This city is the birthplace of trap music and the kingdom of legends. Think Outkast, T.I., Ludacris, Jeezy, Future, Migos, and Lil Baby, Atlanta isn’t just on the rap map, it drew the map. If you’re a fan, take a cruise down Boulevard, visit the Trap Music Museum, or look out for murals honoring ATL’s sound architects.

🎶 Where Gospel Meets Country

Atlanta’s church roots run deep, many of today’s biggest gospel voices got their start in historic sanctuaries here. The city helped raise artists like Tasha Cobbs Leonard and James Bignon. Head a little north, and you’re in the land of country twang, Zac Brown Band hails from right outside Atlanta, and you’ll find some serious country soul in the city’s live music scene.

🕌 A Melting Pot of Cultures

What makes Atlanta truly special is its diversity. Our city has one of the largest Indian-American populations in the Southeast, and you’ll taste it in our food (Chai Pani, Tabla, and Gokul Sweets are musts). The annual Festival of India and Holi celebrations bring vibrant color and joy to the city each year.

🌏 Asian Influence & Community

Buford Highway is a food lover’s paradise, often called Atlanta’s global corridor. From Korean BBQ to Vietnamese pho, Chinese dim sum to Thai street food, the city owes much of its flavor and flair to the contributions of its Asian communities. You’ll also find Buddhist temples, cultural centers, and tea shops woven into the rhythm of daily life here.

🎨 Hidden Gems & Local Vibes

Stroll the Atlanta BeltLine and discover massive murals, popup markets, and creative energy at every turn.

Visit Sweet Auburn, a cornerstone of Black history and the Civil Rights Movement.

Sip locally roasted coffee at Black-owned cafés like Blk Mkt or Refuge.

Catch a show at a local underground music venue, you never know if the next breakout artist is performing right around the corner.

🧠 Did You Know?

Atlanta has more tree canopy than any other major U.S. city, it’s literally called “The City in a Forest.”

Coca-Cola was invented here in 1886.

Martin Luther King Jr. was born and preached right here in Sweet Auburn.

Atlanta hosted the 1996 Olympics and is home to over 70 streets named “Peachtree.”

Whether you’re here to eat, groove, rest, or roam, Atlanta offers a mix of culture, flavor, and history you won’t find anywhere else.

Welcome to the A, where the people are warm, the music is loud, and the culture runs deep.

About Your Hosts

Your Hosts with a Heart for Home

Hi, we’re so glad you’re here! We’re a family of dreamers, builders, and believers, serial entrepreneurs who’ve worn many hats over the years: business owners, world travelers, community leaders, and (our favorite role yet) parents. Creating spaces that feel like home, no matter how far from home you are, has become one of the most fulfilling chapters in our journey.

As travelers ourselves, we know what it’s like to arrive in a new city, sometimes after a long flight or a longer week. We’ve been a couple just trying to sneak in a weekend getaway, the parents hoping for a kid-friendly stay without sacrificing comfort, and the remote workers searching for a peaceful desk and strong Wi-Fi. We built this space with all of that in mind. We believe a great stay is in the details, the cozy linens, the easy check-in, the thoughtfully stocked kitchen, and the feeling that someone genuinely thought of you before you even arrived.

Why do we host? Because we love seeing people connect to new cities, to each other, and to themselves. Every stay helps us pour back into the things that matter most to us: our family, our creative ventures, and our mission to help others create lives (and spaces) they love. This home is part of that mission.

Thank you for being here. Your visit means more than just a reservation, it’s a chance to share in the kind of hospitality we believe changes people.

Welcome again. We hope you feel the love we poured into every corner of this space. And if you leave a little more rested, inspired, or full of good food and memories, then we’ve done our job.

With gratitude,

Lawrence & Vanessa
