Welcome

🏡 Welcome to Your Home Away From Home in Savannah!

Hi there and welcome! We’re so happy you’re here, and not just in a “we’re glad you booked” kind of way. We truly believe every guest becomes part of something special here, and it’s an honor to host your time in this beautiful city.

We’re your hosts, a husband-and-wife duo with a passion for thoughtful hospitality and a deep love for Savannah. This city has a soul of its own, and we opened this space because we wanted others to experience it the way we have: with warmth, intention, and comfort that feels like home.

One of us comes from a long line of Southern cooks, and the other was raised by a storyteller and a researcher, so this home reflects both sides: soul food and stories, curiosity and care. From the cozy corners to the curated design, every inch was created with the guest in mind.

We’ve filled this space with meaningful touches, soft beds, cozy reading nooks, little luxuries, and space to just be. We imagine your stories unfolding here: quiet mornings on the porch with Spanish moss swaying nearby, laughter around the table after a long day exploring, peaceful evenings winding down with warm light and good company.

Whether you’re here for a celebration, a reset, work, family, or just to wander Savannah’s cobblestone streets, we hope this stay gives you what you need most: rest, connection, and a little bit of magic.

Here’s what we believe:
      ✨ Homes should offer rest.
✨ Travel connects us, and comfort sustains us.
✨ Guests aren’t just passing through, they’re part of the story.

Thank you for choosing to stay here. Your support helps us continue doing what we love: building beautiful, intentional spaces that help people reconnect with themselves, with loved ones, and with new cities that just might become part of their story forever. When you support a host like us, you support family dreams, future plans, and love poured into every folded towel and styled bookshelf.

So take a moment. Breathe deep. Settle in. Open the guestbook, it’s full of local tips, hidden gems, and everything you need to navigate both the home and the Hostess City of the South.

Need anything? We’re just a message away.

Want to leave something behind? We’d love a kind review or a note in the digital guestbook.
Planning your return? We’d be honored.

From our home to your heart...

...Welcome to Savannah. Welcome to your stay. You matter here.

About Savannah

Savannah Isn’t Just a City — It’s a Feeling.

It’s the sound of church bells echoing through moss-draped oaks. It’s the sight of Spanish moss swaying in the breeze as a horse-drawn carriage clatters by. It’s sweet tea on a porch swing and jazz spilling from a hidden courtyard. Savannah is slow in the best way, unhurried, soulful, and unforgettable.

🌿 The Soul of the South

Savannah is one of America’s oldest cities, but don’t mistake age for stillness. This city is alive with stories. Walk the cobblestone streets and you’re stepping through centuries of grit, grace, and growth. From the echoes of the Gullah-Geechee heritage to modern-day makers and artists, Savannah holds history and reinvention in the same hand.

🎷 A City That Sings

Music is everywhere here, from jazz in the squares to gospel in historic churches. Legendary talents like Johnny Mercer ("Moon River") called Savannah home, and the city's love for music lives on through live shows at Victory North, jazz brunches, and impromptu performances in Forsyth Park.

🎭 Art, Architecture & Southern Charm

Savannah’s beauty is more than skin-deep. It’s the birthplace of SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design), one of the world’s top creative institutions. You’ll feel its influence in the art galleries, fashion-forward boutiques, and murals painted across historic walls. Take a stroll through the 22 iconic squares, each with its own story, statue, or secret garden.

🍤 Flavor You’ll Never Forget

Lowcountry cuisine is the heart of Savannah's kitchen. Think shrimp & grits, crab stew, pralines, and everything fried just right. From upscale Southern dining at The Grey to hole-in-the-wall seafood shacks, every bite here tells a story, often slow-cooked and seasoned with love.

🖤 Black History & Gullah-Geechee Culture

Savannah’s African American history runs deep, resilient, and proud. Explore the legacy at places like the Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum, First African Baptist Church (founded in 1777), and through the living traditions of the Gullah-Geechee people, storytellers, artisans, and culture keepers whose impact still shapes the region today.

🌊 Riverfront Energy & Coastal Peace

Savannah is a city that lets you choose your pace. Sip cocktails at rooftop bars overlooking River Street or kayak through nearby marshes as egrets fly overhead. Just 20 minutes away is Tybee Island, Savannah’s beach escape, perfect for sunrises, seafood, and sandy toes.

🧠 Did You Know?

  • Savannah was Georgia’s first city, founded in 1733.

  • It's one of the most haunted cities in America, and ghost tours are a rite of passage.

  • Forrest Gump’s famous bench scene was filmed here in Chippewa Square.

  • The Waving Girl statue honors Florence Martus, who greeted every ship that passed by for 44 years.

Whether you’re here for the history, the hospitality, the food, or the feeling, Savannah welcomes you with open arms and open porches.

Take it slow. Let the moss guide you.

You’re in Savannah now, where charm lingers, stories matter, and the breeze always brings something beautiful with it.

About Your Hosts

Your Hosts with a Heart for Home

Hi, we’re so glad you’re here! We’re a family of dreamers, builders, and believers, serial entrepreneurs who’ve worn many hats over the years: business owners, world travelers, community leaders, and (our favorite role yet) parents. Creating spaces that feel like home, no matter how far from home you are, has become one of the most fulfilling chapters in our journey.

As travelers ourselves, we know what it’s like to arrive in a new city, sometimes after a long flight or a longer week. We’ve been a couple just trying to sneak in a weekend getaway, the parents hoping for a kid-friendly stay without sacrificing comfort, and the remote workers searching for a peaceful desk and strong Wi-Fi. We built this space with all of that in mind. We believe a great stay is in the details, the cozy linens, the easy check-in, the thoughtfully stocked kitchen, and the feeling that someone genuinely thought of you before you even arrived.

Why do we host? Because we love seeing people connect to new cities, to each other, and to themselves. Every stay helps us pour back into the things that matter most to us: our family, our creative ventures, and our mission to help others create lives (and spaces) they love. This home is part of that mission.

Thank you for being here. Your visit means more than just a reservation, it’s a chance to share in the kind of hospitality we believe changes people.

Welcome again. We hope you feel the love we poured into every corner of this space. And if you leave a little more rested, inspired, or full of good food and memories, then we’ve done our job.

With gratitude,

Lawrence & Vanessa
